Staffing Strategies

This 4-week microcredential course taught by Texas Tech faculty will focus on the process of staffing organizations. Staffing strategies will be discussed from a local, state, national and global perspective. Topics include analysis of the external job market, talent acquisition, resume analysis, interviewing techniques, background checks, reference checks, the hiring process, recognition and valuing of employee/corporate culture, integration of new employees into the organization and the development/retention of a diverse workforce. This course is non-credit, with the option to convert to credit toward the TTU Bachelor's of University Studies.
